Missing Emirati boy found in Saudi a month later

An Emirati boy who went missing nearly a month ago was found in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Thursday.

Ibrahim Mohammed Al Sayari was found in the northeastern town of Hafr Al Batin after he lost his way while inside the Gulf Kingdom, Sabq Arabic language daily said.

It quoted relatives as saying Ibrahim had crossed the UAE border into Saudi Arabia nearly a month ago and told his father that he would walk for a while.

Relatives said Ibrahim was heading for the central town of Wadi Al Dawasir to meet his father when he lost his way and ended up in Hafr Al Batin.

“A Saudi man saw Ibrahim in that area after his photograph was published by Sabq and he phoned his relatives,” the paper said.
