One of the three men suspected of murdering 21-year-old Emirati, Nasser Ali Nasser Obaid, and burning his dead body last October, has confessed to committing the pre-planned crime.

His two other accomplices have confessed to seeing that the first accused did and to helping him in burning the victim's dead body, Dubai's Attorney-General Essam Eisa Al Humaidan said on Wednesday in a statement.

The suspects were referred by Dubai Police to the Public Prosecution for interrogation on Wednesday.
Nasser's father reported his missing son to Al Rashidiya police station on October 28.

The suspects tried to abuse the victim sexually before one of them strangled him to death with the car's seat belt. Then the three suspects piled Nasser's body on firewood and set it ablaze after dousing it with benzene, according Al Humaidan.

The three men -- the primary suspects -- are involved in Nasser's death because they were the last people with whom he went out before he went missing, Al Humaidan noted.

The three killed Nasser because his uncle allegedly had killed a brother of one of them, investigations revealed.

The vendetta murder was pre-planned, Al Humaidan said, and the suspects went out with Nasser and drove towards Mahdha, an Omani border area, to consume liquor.

One of the suspects reminded Nasser that his uncle had allegedly killed his brother. The victim tried to dissuade them from killing him and to convince them that he had nothing to do with what his uncle had done.
