Newborn abandoned in cold for 4 days
An African househelp has been arrested after a newborn was found deserted at the place that she worked.
The woman who looked after her aged sponsor in Dibba Al Hesn has confessed to police that the baby was a product of an illicit relationship.
Police was tipped off by the aged woman’s brother who heard cries of the baby at her home and was shocked to find an infant deserted in the cold.
It is alleged that the infant was out in the open for four days.
The baby is being administered medical aid and the suspect in under arrest.
