Nobody's child: Who does this 3-year old found in Dubai belong to?

The case of an absconding Bangladeshi maid who was arrested along with a three-year-old child - who she claims is her own - is being reviewed all over again on compassionate grounds.

Dubai Public Prosecution has not only summoned the sponsor of the Bangladeshi housemaid but also asked for a second DNA test - this time at the Sharjah Laboratory - to ascertain if her claims are true.

It may be noted that the first DNA test - conducted by Dubai General Department of Criminal Evidence - proved she was not the bologiocal mother of the child.

According to a report in 'Emarat Al Youm', Judge Mohammed Hassan Abdul Rahim, Chief of Dubai Public Prosecution (Muraqabat in Deira), said the second test is being done not because the court doubts Dubai Police, but to doubly confirm the result, given that the child is very attached to the maid.
