RAK jail-house arsonist jailed again

A court in Ras Al Khaimah sentenced a prisoner to an additional three months in jail and ordered his deportation from the UAE for setting fire to inmates’ beds in the prison

The Arab had been detained for interrogation on charges of molesting a Western woman in the northern emirate.

“He had threatened to commit a suicide before setting the beds of some inmates on fire,” the Arabic language daily Al Khaleej said.
