RAK Police arrest serial robber

Criminal Investigation Department of Ras Al Khaimah Police has arrested an Asian who was involved in a number of thefts in the emirate.

Colonel Abdullah Ali Menkhs, Director of Investigation at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said they had received several reports of someone breaking into people’s house and other burglary attempts over the past few months.

A security team was formed and police patrols were increased in residential areas. During a night patrol police noticed someone trying to break into a house late night.

Police arrested the accused who confessed committing robbery in a number of houses in different areas of the emirate; the case has been transferred to the Public Prosecution in Ras Al Khaimah.

Colonel Abdullah appealed citizens and residents to immediately report crimes or any suspicious person so that police can track them.
