Sacked Dubai accountant threatens terminator

A Pakistani accountant whose employment was terminated three months after his appointment, allegedly threatened to harm an employee if he was blacklisted or a six-month ban was imposed on him, the Dubai Criminal Court head.

The victim, IH, 33, told police that the services of SA, 31, was terminated three months after appointment as he had failed to meet the requirements of work.

“SA got very angry with me and threatened me in front of all employees, saying that he knew where I came from and that he could terrify me and my family back home. He later sent me an email saying that if he was sent back home after imposing a six-month ban on him, he will harass my family considerably. He also wrote that if he was permanently blacklisted, he will destroy me and my family and he will force me to become a terrorist,” the victim told the police.

The Prosecution supplied the court with a copy of the email.

The Court will issue its sentence on April 28.
