Ras Al Khaimah authorities seized several shoes carrying abusive religious words following a complaint by a local woman who bought a pair.

Inspectors from the RAK Department of Economic Development confiscated 21 lady shoes from a shop found to be carrying such words.

“The whop has been warned against selling any items deemed offending to religion,” said Omar Al Bayed, head of the complaints section at the Department.
