A 29-year-old Pakistani salesman, ARM, allegedly forged an RTA car parking ticket and used it for his car, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

RTA inspector QSA, 27, Egyptian, testified that while was on duty on May 31 in Al Mankhool behind Al Ain Centre, he became suspicious of a car that had a parking ticket.

Checking via his hand-hand device, he found that the parking ticket stuck on the car had dates different from the actual ones, so the police was informed.

When the motorist came to his car, police found out that the parking ticket was a photocopy of an original that had expired.

Police confiscated other forged parking tickets found in the accused’s possession.

Criminal Evidences reported forgery of two parking tickets using a colour photocopier.

The court will reconvene on September 20.
