Salesman gropes woman shopper in his shop

A salesman allegedly groped a Filipina while she was looking to buy some dress to cover her legs as requested by a security guard of the Global Village.

GM, 31, receptionist had gone to the Global Village wearing a very short dress. The security guard at the gate asked her to buy some dress from nearby shops and cover the lower part of her body.

“One of the salesmen had seen what the security guard had told me. He insisted I buy a dress from his shop. I stepped towards his shop and he showed me a piece of cloth that I could use to cover my lower part. He suggested wrapping the cloth around my waist and said he will show me how to do it.

“The first time he touched my breast, I thought it was by mistake. But, when he passed one of his fingers near my lower private part, I shouted and screamed and pushed him away. I told my friend MJ what the accused had done and we reported the matter to the security guard who informed the police,” testified the victim.

The Court will give its sentence on March 11.
