Sharjah Police have arrested KGS, a Pakistani national, for running a cheap international telephone call racket using special software at his home in the Al Nabah area of the emirate.

The police entered the house of KGS and caught him red-handed.

Police found that KGS had hidden the technical equipment used to make phone calls inside a refrigerator which had holes in the back for the equipment’s wires to pass through.

Police said the accused has confessed to the crime.
