Shop manager stole garments worth Dh4,500

A Bulgarian manager of a shop in Jumeira allegedly stole from her employer garments worth about Dh4,500, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The 40-year-old owner of the shop SZ, Emirati, suspected theft and so he assigned an auditor to check the accounting system.

The accountant reported garments valued at Dh4,500 to be missing. The report said the manager AC, 36, was the one who stole the missing garments.

The court will give its verdict on May 19.
