A Pakistani visitor allegedly carried 100 capsules containing more than 800gms of heroin in his digestive organ, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.
HA, 29, arrived from Afghanistan in Dubai and, as he looked anxious and confused, a customs officer suspected him.
The X-ray machine showed substances in his digestive organs so he was referred to Rashid Hospital to release the stuff from his intestines.
He released 100 capsules which were wrapped in scotch tape and contained a total of 800gms of heroin.
The accused admitted that he was supposed to hand over the capsules over to a person in the country following instruction that he was to receive from Pakistan.
He admitted to smuggling the drugs against Dh1,000 .
The court will reconvene on October 15.
