Teacher gets 10 years for raping school boy

A Dubai criminal court sentenced a private lessons teacher to 10 years in prison and ordered him deported from the UAE for raping a 13-year-old school boy at his home many times, reports said on Monday. 

The Arabic language teacher was accused of waiting for the boy mother to go to bed before raping the student by force, they said.

The boy’s mother had told court she caught the teacher red handed when she woke up to make tea for them. 

“She said she saw the teacher in an obscene act with her son…she started to scream because of the shock,” the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said.

Night thief turns out to be woman

A Saudi man was jolted out of his sleep in the middle of the night by a feeble noise in the living room. He tiptoed into the room and there she was—a woman carrying the loot and preparing to sneak out.

After a brief encounter, he overpowered her and called the police. She was taken away but had first to return the loot—money, jewelry and mobile phones.

“It was a dual surprise for the man and the police as well…the thief turned out to be a woman and also a Saudi,” Alriyadh Arabic language daily said in a report from the eastern province of Ihsa.
