The student, MLM, broke into a fight and caused 30 per cent permanent disability to the engineer.

The incident took place on December 24, 2010 at the Creek Parking space.

The Iranian engineer Mohammed Hadi, 34, was waiting for a car to movie out of parking space when all of a sudden a white suzuki swift overtook his car and parked in the space that he has been waiting for.

“I got down of my car and went to the driver to tell him that I have been waiting for this space and that it is my right to use it," said Hadi

MLM in response said he did not care and asked Hadi if he wanted to fight.

"I told him I do not want to fight but then he held me with both hands and tried to push me on the ground," testified Hadi

Even after several resistances from Hadi, MLM did not stop. He raised Hadi's legs up and then pushed him on the ground.

The fall caused Hadi severe injury in his right arm and the bone stuck out of the skin. He did not stop at that but continued bashing Hadi till he saw blood pouring out.

An Iraqi couple who were also looking for a parking space witnessed the fight. Wasan Salim, 36, housewife said, “When MLM tried to run away, I moved towards him and opened his car door and asked him not to try and run. He seemed very angry and banged the door. I opened it again and asked him to stop, but he drove away.”

Her husband Omar Abdullatif, 44, who is a doctor rushed to the victim and checked his hand. He repeated what had happened and found that Hadi's arm was fractured.
