Two arrested for cheating bank customers in Ajman

Ajman Police arrested two Asians for misleading bank customers and robbing them.

Colonel Abdullah Saif Al Matrooshi, Director of Criminal Investigation, Ajman Police, said they set about investigating after receiving complaints about two unidentified individuals who were cheating bank customers.

Patrols near banks in the emirate were hence intensified and police successfully arrested the duo.

The duo targetted customers who walked out of banks and once they were in their vehicles, one of the suspects would go the person and say that the vehicle has a problem. When the unsuspecting person gets out, the second suspect takes the money from the vehicle and flees.

Colonel Matrooshi called on public to exercise caution, especially after withdrawing cash from banks and ATMS.
