Two Asian phone call pirates held in Sharjah

Sharjah police arrested two Asian men for using illegal equipment to trade in international phone calls in violation of local telecom laws.

Police raided the apartments of the Pakistan and Bangladeshi in the industrial zone and Muwaileh and seized sophisticated devices that allow the two to steal international calls from service providers and sell them to customers for cheap prices. 

Police said the two confessed to charging only Dhone per four minute for an international call, adding that they had a large number of customers.
