Uncle takes niece to police after her overnight hotel stay with expat

A 13-year-old Emirati student asked her uncle to pick her from a hotel in Kalba after staying there overnight having sex with a foreigner, the Dubai Criminal Court heard.

Instead of taking her to her home in Dubai, her uncle took her to a police station where she told the police that she had sex with KS last night.

Forensic tests did not find sperms of the accused on the student’s body or any sign of violence. However, records mentioned that the accused KS admitted to having sex with the young girl.

MA told police that this was the first time she went with KS to a hotel and it was her second meeting with him. Telling her story with KS, the young girl told investigators that her cousin MI gave her the mobile number of KS.

“I called the number and talked to KS and our relationship became stronger by time. On October 4, while I was in Mirdif City Centre at around 11pm, I got a call from him and he told me that he is in the parking lot. I got out and sat with him in the car.

“He kissed me several times. We did not have sex but we agreed to meet on the next day. At around 8pm, I went to a salon in Al Warqa. I called KS who came over and I went out with him. He drove to Kalba where he booked a room in a hotel where we slept after having sex.

“In the morning KS went to work and left me in the room. At around 3pm, I called my uncle and asked him to drop me back home, but instead he took me to a police station,” she told investigators.

Forensic, which did not found sperms of the accused on the victim’s body, reported the young girl’s version.

Dubai Prosecution has accused KS of indecent assault under duress.

The Court will reconvene on February 5.
