Visitor had 74 capsules of heroin in intestines

An Afghan visitor allegedly carried 74 capsules that contained more than half a kilo of heroin in his digestive organs.
 
A custom officer suspected HK, 35, on his arrival at Dubai airport on August 23.
 
Searching him and his luggage, nothing illegal was found. However, searching his body with X-ray device, capsules were detected.
 
The officers confronted the passenger with the abnormal items in his digestive organ.
 
The passenger denied hiding any drugs in his digestive organ.
 
However, in hospital, HK released 74 capsules that contained more than half a kilo of heroin.
 
The accused later admitted to smuggling in drugs that he was supposed to hand over to an unidentified person.

The court will reconvene on November 22.
