Wife wins divorce case against 'cruel' husband

A Kuwaiti court sided with a local woman and agreed to her demand to be divorced from her husband for regularly beating her.

The woman had filed a divorce case against her husband for being cruel to her most of the time and regularly hitting her without reason.

"The personnel affairs court granted the wife a divorce after finding the husband guilty of regularly beating her," 'Alwatan' newspaper said.
