The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance awarded a Kazakhstani businesswoman seven years in jail followed by deportation after holding her guilty of killing her boyfriend.
According to the arraignment sheet, AF, 26, stabbed YS in a villa in Jumeirah on November 4. She initially told prosecutors that YS had killed himself after a dispute between them. Later she admitted to killing him but claimed that it was in self-defence.
The prosecution referred the accused to a psychiatrist who diagnosed her with a psychological disorder, according to the records.
However, forensic reported that the cause of death was killing, refuting that he committed suicide as the accused claimed. There were wounds on the left forearm of the victim , proving that he resisted the attacker.
Medicine reported that she used to consume alcohol and that being drunk had not made her lose control over her actions. The report also said she suffers a disorder, having been raped at an early age, and that her mother had mistreated her.
