Woman on trial for offering sex to Dubai cop

A 20-year-old Ukrainian prostitute, who had been deported from the UAE re-entered the country on a forged Turkish passport, is accused of offering sex to a police detective.

AN drew the attention of a policeman as she was dressed immodestly and standing in front of a hotel on Khalid bin Walid Street.

“She was stopping men and talking to them in a seductive manner. I asked for a police detective who was stopped by the woman. She offered him sex against money. So the woman was arrested.

“A policewoman searched her bag and found condoms and a Turkish passport that carried her picture. Checking her eye scan, we found out that she had been deported earlier from the UAE. The accused confessed that the Turkish passport is forged,” testified Second Lieutenant Khalid Ali.

The accused admitted to practicing prostitution and that she had been deported from the country.

The Court is expected to issue its verdict on July 14.
