Women's handbag stealers held in Ajman

Ajman Police has arrested two Asians for stealing women’s handbags from cars parked near shopping centres.

Colonel Abdullah Saif Al Matroushi, Director of Criminal Investigation in Ajman Police, said a number of complaints of theft of women’s handbags had been received.

Police arrested MCU and MJM, both illegal residents, who were seen loitering around shopping centres.

Police said the two people arrested had confessed that they used to watch women coming out of shopping centres, tell them that their car is damaged and steal handbags from the vehicle when the woman went to inspect it.
