Man stabs 3-year-old daughter to death

A Saudi man stabbed his three-year-old daughter to death before locking her body in the bedroom at their house in the Gulf Kingdom.

Police raided the house in the capital Riyadh at the ex-wife’s request and found the child lying in a pool of blood in the locked room, ‘Sada’ newspaper said.

It quoted police as saying the mother had abandoned her husband because of his drug addiction. “She was worried about her daughter, who was living with her father. She told the police that she was worried about her life,” the report said.
