2-year-old girl hit by park train in RAK

A two-year-old Arab girl suffered from serious injuries after she was knocked over by a park train in Ras Al Khaimah, press reports said on Sunday.

The train was on a tour through the park on Friday evening when the driver saw the girl standing on her own just near the rail, the reports said.

The driver pushed the brakes hard but the train failed to stop before it reached the girl, they said, quoting police.

The girl suffered from serious injuries and was rushed to the intensive care unit at Saqr Hospital. Police said they are investigating the accident.
