6,000 liquor bottles seized in Kuwait

Kuwaiti port customs inspectors seized nearly 6,000 liquor bottles hidden in a home appliances shipment coming from another Gulf country.

The inspectors at Shuwaikh Port decided to search the shipment after receiving a tip-off that it contained illegal goods, according to ‘Al Watan’ newspaper.

“They found nearly 6,000 liquor bottles concealed in the boxes under home appliances that were sent from another Gulf country,” it said.
