Abandoned baby girl found near mosque in Kuwait

A Kuwaiti man on his way to pray stumbled across a crying baby dumped under a tree behind a mosque in the Gulf emirate, a newspaper said on Monday.

The man had thought he was hallucinating when he heard the feeble crying coming from the little garden attached to the mosque in Saad Al Abdullah area in Kuwait City, the Arabic language daily Alanba said.

“He went to check and found the baby who was in good condition…he carried her into the mosque and called the police.”
