Asian falls to death at Grand Mosque

An Indonesian construction worker died after fall down from a 10-metre-high wall while doing maintenance work at the Grand Mosque in Saudi Arabia

The 34-year-old man was climbing a scaffold on top of the wall when his foot slipped,  the Arabic language daily 'Sabq' said, quoting police.

It said the man died on impact after landing on his head on the ground at the Grand Mosque in the Western Saudi town of Makkah.
