Bahrain foils terrorist prison break attempt

The Bahraini Ministry of the Interior has announced that it has foiled a terrorist operation, which targeted the pre-trial detention centre in an effort to release a number of prisoners.

Bahrain News Agency (BNA) quoted the ministry's statement today which said that a number of involved cell members were arrested in possession of weapons and ammunition ready to be used in the attempt.
