Car stolen with 3-year-old girl sleeping in it

A thief stole a car with a three-year-old girl sleeping on the back seat before dumping the vehicle near a road and fleeing.

Police found the car with the baby still asleep after searching the area in the eastern Saudi town of Khobar, newspapers said.

The girl’s father told police he went into a shop and left his car running, adding that he returned a few minutes later but the car had gone.
