Child stuck inside washing machine rescued

Saudi Civil defence men had to cut off parts of a washing machine to pull out a four-year-old girl who was stuck inside, a newspaper said on Wednesday.

The girl was playing with her elder sister at their house in the eastern province of Ihsa when she pushed herself into the washing machine, Okaz said.

“She could not get out, prompting her parents to phone the civil defence people, who came and succeeded in freeing the girl unscathed.”
