Cop kills colleague just before iftar

A Saudi policeman shot dead his colleague just as they stepped out of their office and headed home for Iftar (Ramadan evening meal).

Newspapers said the cop pulled his gun and fired at his colleague near the victim’s home in the capital Riyadh following an argument.

Police arrested the killer and are interrogating him to determine the cause of the argument, they said.
