Dad kills son for 'irresponsible behavior'

A Saudi man in his 70s killed his 40-year-old son at their house in the Gulf Kingdom and a newspaper said the father’s motive was his son’s irresponsible behavior.

Police said the son was admitted to hospital in the eastern town of Dammam in a critical condition before he died hours later.

He said the father was arrested and is being interrogated without giving further details. But the Arabic language newspaper Alwatan said the father shot his son with his gun because of his “irresponsible behavior.”
