Drugged police man thinks he is Lt. Colonel

When Kuwait customs men at a border point stopped a car and asked its driver, a plainclothes police man, to step out for search, he angrily told them he was a Lt Colonel at the Ministry of Interior.

When they insisted on searching the car, he became even more furious and instantly promoted himself to a “friend of the Minister of Interior.”

“The policeman told them he would immediately phone his friend the Minister and ask him to transfer them,” Alwatan daily said.

“This made them even more determined to search the car…the search resulted in finding drug pills and only then they realized that the police man has taken some pills…he was arrested on charges of taking drugs and impersonating a high ranking officer.”

Alwatan said that after his arrest, the police man still insisted that he had not taken any drugs and that he was actually a Lt. Colonel.
