A 56-year-old Saudi man and his young son collapsed and died of heart attack almost at the same time before the eyes of their shocked family and hospital staff, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Thursday.
Doctors at the hospital in the southern province of Asir were trying to revive the father after suffering from a heart attack when his son rushed in.
“When the son saw his father in that condition, he became hysterical and started to weep and scream…he then collapsed on the floor,” Sharq daily said.
“Doctors and his brothers put him on another bed next to his father, who in turn started to weep when he saw his son collapse….doctors raced against time to save both but failed…the father died minutes later and the son just followed.”
