Filipina gets raped instead of married

An Arab man in Kuwait persuaded a Filipina that he wanted to marry her but she has to come home with him to meet his mother. When they were inside the apartment, the presumed bridegroom instantly turned into rapist.

Despite tough resistance she put up, the man managed to rape her then contacted her friend to come and take her to hospital.

“The rapist then disappeared and the Filipina’s friend phoned both the ambulance and police,” Alwatan daily said.

Man cuts off his genitals

A 27-year-old Saudi man was admitted to hospital in a serious condition after cutting off his genitals apparently because he is suffering from mental problems, a newspaper in the Gulf Kingdom reported on Saturday.

Doctors said they struggled in vain to restore the organ to the man but added his condition was generally improving and he was out of danger.

Police went to the man’s house in the northern town of Arar to question his family and neighbours about the reasons that led him to sever his organ.

Newspapers quoted some family members the man had suffered from psychological problems recently.
