Fish shipment turns out to be drugs

Kuwaiti police seized more than 10 kg of hashish concealed in a fish shipment arriving at one of the emirate’s ports from Iran, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the boat at Douha port and seized the drugs which were hidden inside the fish, the Arabic language daily Alanba said.

It said police also arrested Iranian sailors aboard the dhow and a Kuwaiti man who was awaiting the shipment.
