Saudi authorities arrested four armed men for killing an Oryx inside a reserve of endangered animals in the Gulf Kingdom.

Security men patrolling the reserve in the western town of Taif trace the men from their footprints and called police, Sabq daily said.

It said police seized two men while they were trying to carry the killed deer while two others were arrested near the reserve’s fence.

The white Oryx, is one of the most endangered animals in the Arabic Peninsula, where some countries have launched massive breeding programmes to save the animal.
