A seven-year-old girl in Saudi carried her infant brother to school in a plastic bag to show her friends.
The Grade 2 student apparently told her classmates that her mother gave birth to a baby brother and they did not believe her. So the little girl carried the newborn in a plastic bag the following day to show them, reported ‘Ain Ha’al’ daily.
The child’s mother who was sleeping in the morning, while the girl left for school, was unaware of the incident, until the maid cried out for help.
Meanwhile, the infant started crying and attracted the attention of the teacher in class. The shocked teacher discovered the baby in the bag and upon questioning the girl, she said that she brought him along to show him to her classmates who would not believe her.
The child’s father rushed to school to collect his son.
