Groom accidentally killed by friend

A young Kuwaiti man heading for his wedding was killed when his friend accidentally shot him in the back, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old groom was on his way to the wedding in a car parade in the capital Kuwaiti City when his friends began firing in the air in violation of local laws which ban shooting during weddings.

“One bullet by a friend struck the groom’s car seat, penetrated his back and landed in his heart…he died on the way to hospital,” Alanba daily said.
