Gulf man robs ATM machine with cleaver

A 22-year-old Kuwaiti used a cleaver to smash a cash machine outside a local bank and steal money before he was identified and arrested by the police.

During questioning, he confessed to his crime and told police he did so because he needed 'some money.'

"He smashed the ATM machine with a cleaver, stole some money and fled from the location but was caught on CCTV camera of the bank," the Arabic language daily Al-Watan said.
