I thought it’s a cat… but it's a thief

A Kuwaiti man backed by his two teen age sons used a washing line to tie up an Asian thief who he had first thought a cat.

The man, in his 50s, said he was jolted out of bed by muted noise in his underground store room just after mid night.

“I thought it was a cat which had been locked up by accident,” he told police, according to the Kuwaiti daily 'Al Anba'.

“When I went downstairs, I found him hiding between boxes…I shouted to my sons who brought me the washing line...I tied him up and drove him here (police station),” the paper said, adding that the thief confessed to sneaking into the house in Kuwait City for burglary.
