It’s rape… no it’s molesting: court told

A European woman accused an Arab man of raping her but later told court she could not remember if he raped or just molested her.

The man, defending himself at court in Abu Dhabi, denied both charges, saying she started to kiss him but he asked her to get out.

“The woman first told court the man raped her but later she changed her statements to molestation…she said he grabbed her hand and molested her…she confessed that she was drunk,” the semi official Arabic language daily Alittihad said.

“The man told court the woman began kissing her but he did not do anything…he said he asked her to leave the room.”

The paper said the court adjourned hearings for sentence but gave no date for the next session.
