Kalba brothers get six years for raping boy

A court in Kalba sentenced two Emirati brothers to six years in prison after they were found guilty of abducting and raping a boy.

The two confessed to the police that they kidnapped the boy near a sport club in the eastern city and took him to a hotel, where they took turn in raping him.

The court sentenced them on charges of abduction, rape, beating and threatening to publicize pictures of the boy’s naked body on social networks.

Another man was fined Dh1,000 for failing to report the crime.
