Maid executed for killing 3-year-old girl

Saudi authorities on Tuesday executed an Ethiopian housemaid after she was convicted of murdering a three-year-old local girl by stabbing her 30 times.

In a statement, the interior ministry said Khadija bin Mohammed Issa was executed in the northeastern town of Hafr Al Batin after she was sentenced to death by a court.

Khadija had confessed to stabbing the child while asleep. She was arrested after she fled her employer’s home and hid at a friend’s house.
