Man accidentally shoots self

A Saudi man was injured when he accidentally shot himself while cleaning his gun at home in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The man, in his 30s, has just finished cleaning the gun and was testing it when he accidentally pulled the trigger, ‘Sada’ said.

“He was taken to hospital with an injury in the knee. Police are questioning the man over the incident,” the paper said in a report from the Northwestern town of Tabuk.
