Man ends life in Saudi jail

A Sudanese prisoner committed a suicide by using the rope in his prison pants to hang himself in the toilet, a newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Inmates found the man hanging by the toilet window and informed prison authorities, who called an ambulance, Sabq said.

“The man was dead when the ambulance arrived,” it said, adding that police were investigating the motives for the suicide.
