Man held for attempting to rape two teenagers

Kuwaiti police arrested a 20-year-old local man for trying to rape two teenage girls after misleading them into coming to his apartment for a birthday party, a newspaper in the Gulf emirate reported on Sunday.

The father of one girl told police his daughter had been molested and that she resisted rape by the man at his flat in Kuwait City, Alanba said.

Police investigated the girl and her friend and both confirmed the man tried to rape them, the paper added.
