Man kills nephew for beating mom

A Jordanian man slit the throat of his nephew after he saw him beating his mother to stop her from going out, newspapers in the Arab country reported on Monday.

The man was visiting his sister at her home when he saw her 20-year-old son assaulting her, the papers said, adding that the man tried to stop his nephew.

After he refused to stop beating her, his uncle brought a kitchen knife and slit his throat in front of his mother at their home in north Jordan, the report said.
