Man murders teen daughter in Palestine

A Palestinian man waited for his 18-year-old daughter to finish Iftar (Ramadan evening meal), pulled a kitchen knife and stabbed her to death.

The man then put his shoes on and walked out of the house towards the police station, where he handed himself over.

The man from the West Bank town of Tulkarm walked to the police station still holding the blood-stained knife before giving himself up.

Newspapers did not specify the father’s motives for the murder but said the girl was one of the top performers in the secondary school examinations in town.
